History

In 1986, about 5 young brothers gathered in a villa in Deira for spiritual fellowship. Pastor K.S Chacko led it for about a year. In the following days, Pastor Joykutty, who was working in Fujairah, came to Dubai and led this group, but he could not continue due to travel difficulties.After that, Pastor Jacob Oommen ministered for some years from 1988, then Pastor Mathews George who came from Bahrain and Abu Dhabi was accepted as the minister of the church.Pastor Mathews George was the person who received the ordination of Sharon Fellowship Church. In the early days, he came in from Abu Dhabi on weekends and later settled in Dubai to lead the group. But during this time Sharon Fellowship Church had no congregations in UAE. After this fellowship which started in Deira was interested in joining Sharon Fellowship Church, and they communicated with Pastor TG Koshy who was leading the church. On 29-3-1993, this group was recognized as a church by Sharon Fellowship Church. After that, God helped him to register in Dubai Trinity Church under the name Sharan Fellowship Church Dubai and conduct spiritual meetings. Church activities were expanded under the leadership of Pastor Mathews George. After some years God gave the opportunity to start Sharjah Sharon Church and after that Satwa Church after getting hall in Sharjah Union Church.Pastor Joy George became the minister of the church from 2005 to 2008 after Pastor Mathews George returned home country after 13 long years of sacrificial ministry. The congregation was led by Pastor Titus Johnson from 2008 to 2014, Pastor Jose Yohannan from 2014 to 2017 and Pastor Shibu Mathew from 2017 to 2023. Now Pastor Sam Koshy is serving as the pastor of the church.
